Summer of 1976. Bea is 16 and swept up in the winds of change spreading across the country. She joins a group of women working to raise awareness for the feminist movement and push for the legalization of abortion. The rebellion coursing through her veins becomes entwined with an unexpected feeling that will turn her world upside down. Over the course of those months, Bea forms a very special bond with Miren, an older girl from a well-off family. Her political commitment and her relationship with Miren will make that summer a turning point in her life.
