8th century. Christianity spreads across Europe as pagan beliefs fade away. When Charlemagne’s army advances through the Pyrenees, the valley's leader seeks help from an ancient goddess. Through a blood pact, he defeats the enemy at the cost of his own life. Before dying, he makes his son, Eneko, promise to protect and lead their people in the new era.

Years later, Eneko confronts that promise with a mission: to recover his father’s body, buried in a pagan ritual alongside Charlemagne’s treasure. Despite his Christian faith, he must seek the help of Irati, a mysterious local pagan. Together, the two young people venture into a strange and unforgiving forest where “everything that has a name exists.”
