Vitoria, 2009. Following unrest in her neighborhood due to the imminent expropriation of several homes, Lide, a young mother working as a security guard at a high-speed rail construction site, discovers that her teenage daughter, Ane, didn’t come home to sleep. Together with her ex-husband Fernando, Lide begins to search for her daughter’s whereabouts, only to delve into Ane’s world and realize she has been living alongside a stranger.
